Holidays are always an exciting time of year, but if you are looking to save like I am, it can also be a stressful time of year. With decorations being higher priced than ever I like to be frugal and save where I can. This is where my Harvest Wreath comes in to play. With all products purchased at the Dollar Tree aside from tools I already own, this project cost me a grand total of $7 to make, and is completely up to your discretion with colors and material choices.
Supplies
* Foam Wreath form * Burlap Rolls * Orange Ribbon * Fabric Dahlia * Raffia * Scissors * Hot Glue Gun
*Also pictured is floral tape if you do not have a glue gun
Directions
Cut burlap rolls in half lengthwise. Glue one end of burlap to wreath form, wrap tightly and glue other end to wreath as well, wrap all burlap pieces around to cover form.
Once glue dries, glue one end of ribbon to wreath and wrap around wreath until ends touch, glue other end to wreath.
Cut flowers off of stems and insert end into foam to hold still.
Take raffia and tie around wreath, then place more flowers on wreath to cover front of raffia.
Special thanks to my boyfriend for displaying the finished product for me. For the wreath I left the loose strings from the burlap to maintain a more rustic look to the wreath, but these can also be trimmed off for a more sleek look.
