My sweet tooth is well known, today it was kicked in to high gear, along with my desire to try something new. I decided to try out a tye dye cake, but I wanted it to be a little different. I used flavorings to achieve a slightly different cake than most that I have seen. This was super fun to make, and I hope you try it as well!
Ingredients
*1 box of white cake mix
*1 container vanilla icing
*neon food coloring using pink, blue and purple
*3 tsp raspberry flavoring
*3 tsp coconut flavoring
*3 tsp lemon flavoring
Directions
Prepare White cake batter according to package directions, separate into three bowls. In each bowl place 2 to 3 drops of food coloring so each is a separate color. In the blue batter put raspberry flavoring, in the pink batter put the lemon, and in the purple batter put the coconut. Lightly grease a bundt pan and spoon batter in pan in no particular order. Bake according to package directions. Take cake out and remove from bundt pan to cool. Separate icing into three bowls and microwave until liquid and glossy, place 1 or 2 drops of coloring in each bowl and spoon across top of cake in random fashion. If desired top with sprinkles before icing hardens.
