Cheddar Garlic Biscuits

To round out Saturday nights dinner I made my own attempt at Red Lobster Cheddar Bay biscuits. I could literally eat baskets of those mouthwatering biscuits and wanted to try to emulate them at home. My recipe, while not exact, came pretty close. I started with a box of Jiffy biscuit mix and ended with soft, fluffy, cheddar biscuits that everyone loved.

Ingredients
*1 box Jiffy biscuit mix
*2/3 cup water
*1 tbsp parsley
*1 tsp garlic salt
*1 tbsp oregano
Butter topping
*2 tbsp butter
*1/4 tsp garlic salt
*1/2 tsp parsley
Directions
Preheat oven to 450. Prepare mix according to package directions, then add in spices and cheese.



Combine well until doughy and somewhat crumbly. Form into 8 biscuits and place spread about 2" apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes according to package directions. Meanwhile combine remaining ingredients and melt to top baked biscuits.



After drizzling on biscuits, bake another 1-2 minutes to let butter seep in.
